Trade Ministry Supports the Innofood Expo & Forum 2026 Agenda

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesia's Vice Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti, held a meeting with the Indonesian Farmers’ Association (HKTI). The meeting took place at the Ministry of Trade office in Jakarta on Monday, August 24, 2026.

During the meeting, HKTI presented its plans for the upcoming Innofood Expo & Forum 2026. The event will take place from October 8 to 11, 2026, at NICE PIK 2 in Tangerang, Banten.

Roro stated that the Ministry of Trade warmly welcomes collaboration for this upcoming event. She noted that it could strengthen the national food ecosystem while creating new trade opportunities for business operators.

In a written statement, Roro said, “This meeting is expected to strengthen the synergy between the Ministry of Trade and HKTI in promoting cross-sector collaboration and expanding opportunities for Indonesian products and businesses to grow in both domestic and global markets.”

INNOFOOD 2026 embodies the core values of innovation, food security, and long-term sustainability. This national event brings together key participants, including agricultural technology startups, government officials, industry leaders, academics, and small business owners.

The forum offers various interactive programs designed for professional networking and business expansion. Highlights include an innovation showcase, workshops, business matching sessions, an awarding night, and cultural performances.

Several officials accompanied Roro during the discussion with the association members. Among them were Miftah Farid, Director of Primary Product Export Development, and Dewi Rokhayati, Director of Domestic Product Marketing.
