Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto welcomed commitments from the UAE and global firms such as Louis Dreyfus Company, noting that new investment would support downstream industries, food resilience, and supply chain development.
“UEA is one of Indonesia’s strategic partners in the Middle East, and the implementation of the I-UAE CEPA will further enhance trade and investment flows,” he said in Jakarta on Sunday, June 14, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
The Indonesian government reaffirmed its support for UAE businesses already operating in the country, including Louis Dreyfus Company, which has maintained a presence for 25 years.

Among the commitments, Abu Dhabi Export (ADEX) pledged investment focused on food security, reflecting confidence in Indonesia’s agribusiness potential.
