Indonesia to Expand Mini Indonesia Park in Poland

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia's Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, supports the expansion of the Bali Indah Cultural Park, also known as Mini Indonesia Park, in Slupsk, Poland, as part of efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s cultural diplomacy. He expressed the support when he received a visit from the Honorary Consul of Indonesia in Gdansk, Poland, Mirosław Wawrowski, at the Ministry of Culture’s office in Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday September 15, 2026.

Bali Indah Cultural Park is located within the Dolina Charlotty Resort and Spa and serves as a platform for introducing Indonesian culture in Poland. During the meeting, Fadli appreciated Wawrowski’s initiative to preserve and promote Indonesian cultural heritage in Poland.

Fadli said the initiative reflects a strong appreciation for Indonesian culture and could serve as an example for Indonesians in preserving their cultural identity. He added that efforts to introduce Indonesian culture in Poland could receive a positive response from local communities.

The Ministry of Culture supports the development of the Mini Indonesia Park by adding traditional houses representing various provinces across Indonesia. The construction of the new complex will be carried out under the guidance of Indonesian cultural experts to ensure that the cultural representations reflect the values and characteristics of each region.

In addition to developing the cultural complex, Fadli encouraged the use of the Mini Indonesia Park in Poland as a platform for cultural diplomacy between the two countries. Activities such as short-film screenings at cultural festivals could also help introduce Indonesia’s cultural diversity while creating opportunities for cultural exchange with Poland.

Mirosław Wawrowski said his team continues to collaborate with various stakeholders to promote Indonesian culture in Poland. He also announced plans to organize a large-scale cultural festival next year involving young people from Europe and Scandinavia.

The expansion of the Mini Indonesia Park is part of efforts to broaden the reach of Indonesian cultural promotion through cooperation with international partners. The presence of traditional houses and cultural activities at the site is expected to introduce Indonesia’s cultural diversity to Polish communities and international visitors.

The Ministry of Culture reaffirmed its support for Indonesia’s cultural diplomacy efforts at the international level, including the development of the Bali Indah Cultural Park in Slupsk. Cultural cooperation between Indonesia and Poland is expected to strengthen bilateral ties while expanding international awareness of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
