RRI.CO.ID, Batu - The Mayor of Batu, Nurochman, praised the creativity of Lucky Garden in pioneering moss art installations, a creative form utilizing natural moss for decoration and fine art. Emerging from Sidomulyo Village in Batu Subdistrict, East Java, the business has successfully expanded its market reach across various regions in Indonesia.

The owner of Lucky Garden explained that moss art incorporates both live and preserved moss to craft interior decor and artistic installations. Lucky Garden’s pieces have been installed in several prominent locations nationwide, including Labuan Bajo Airport and the Surabaya Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) Building.

Nurochman noted that Lucky Garden's creativity holds strong potential for growth and market expansion at the national level. He also announced plans by the Batu City Regional Administration to feature moss art installations in municipal administration buildings as a sign of appreciation for local creative endeavors.

“This is an extraordinary piece of work. The crafting process is fascinating, and maintenance is straightforward,” said Nurochman on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

He added that this creative venture stands out as a flagship product originating from Batu City with strong market appeal beyond the region.

During his visit, Nurochman tried his hand at creating a moss art piece directly. The hands-on activity was part of an official site visit to observe the creative process firsthand and gain deeper insight into moss-based art development at Lucky Garden.
