KBRN, Yogyakarta: Nama musisi Henry Moodie belakangan mulai dikenal penikmat musik Indonesia setelah lagu Drunk Text viral. Lagu yang di rilis Henry pada 27 Januari 2023 ini viral di berbagai platform media sosial.

Henry Moodie lahir di Guildford, Inggris pada 7 April 2004. Sejak 2019, ia sudah lebih dulu aktif di TikTok dan Instagram sebagai pembuatn konten. Henry pertama kali mengunggah konten cover lagu saat berusia 13 tahun. Salah satu konten yang dibuatnya adalah lagu Too Good At Goodbye milik Sam Smith.

Henry Moodie mulai mengunggah lagu original ciptaan sendiri You Were There For Me di Spotify saat berusia 16 tahun. Namun, memang namanya mulai dilirik saat lagu Drunk Tex booming di TikTok.

Lagu Drunk Text diciptakan Henry Moodie dan diproduseri oleh Ryan Linvill, Freedo, dan Ollie Green. Lirik lagunya ditulis Henry Moodie bersama Josh McClelland dan Andrew Bannister.

Mengutip celebmix.com, Henry Moodie bercerita bahwa lagu Drunk Text adalah lagu yang mengisahkan tentang mencintai seseorang dari jauh. "Tentang perasaan tersiksa, mencintai orang yang tak mungkin bersama," katanya.
